SilverStone Permafrost PF240-ARGB, V2

SilverStone is a well-known name amongst advanced users and enthusiasts. The company earned its reputation from its first PSUs and original case designs, and soon diversified towards cooling related products. Their products usually are designed to be cost-effective, with a focus on practicality and quality instead of extravagant aesthetics. That tactic served SilverStone very well in the past, some of their CPU tower coolers have become very good values for the price.

SilverStone really hit it out of the park with the PF240-ARGB liquid cooler. In terms of raw performance, it's the only RGB-equipped AIO other than the Aerocool P7 to offer this level of performance on our test bench. Many other RGB or ARGB-equipped liquid coolers are 1% to 6% behind in performance, with many costing much more as well. This makes the PF240 even more attractive since it not only delivers good looks and performance, but also isn't so loud as to be ear-splitting, either.
