Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 256GB Blue Shadow

Jetzt in dünn.

Samsung's seventh-generation foldable finally feels like a proper phone – but the eye-watering price and some AV compromises mean it's not for everyone

Samsung's latest Z Fold phone is my favorite yet thanks to its gorgeous form factor, great displays, and solid camera array.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 feels like the holy grail of foldable phones. It’s super thin and light, so it feels like a regular phone in your pocket. And yet, the new Fold packs a bigger 8-inch display when opened. Samsung also upgraded the camera system, including a 200MP main shooter and an ultrawide camera that takes much better macros. And having Gemini Live always at the ready is a game changer. The $2,000 price is super expensive — and Samsung ditched the S Pen — but overall this is the best foldable money can’t buy.

With a refined and appealing design, plenty of power, smarter AI, smoother multitasking, and improved cameras, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the best folding phone you can buy, bar none.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 finally delivers the ultra-slim, lightweight foldable we've been waiting for, boasting significant design and camera upgrades that put it at the top of its class. While battery life and charging speeds could be better, its impressive screens, top-tier performance and refined software make it the best Galaxy Z Fold to date, and quite possibly one of the best foldables full stop.

With an incredibly slim and lightweight design, better cameras and a faster chip inside, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is probably the best foldable phone you can buy right now. However, it’s not perfect; sustained gaming performance could be better, and the battery and charging speeds aren’t anything to shout about. With more foldable launches on the horizon, it remains to be seen how long the Z Fold 7 can stay on top.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is far more than an iterative update, it's Samsung's arrival at the top of the folding phone game. The new proportions and slim design are a skilful balance that feels just right, while the main camera's upgrade can deliver S25 Ultra-beating results. There's no S Pen stylus support, which may be unforgivable for some upgraders, and the new design means hardened gamers might be left asking for more. For everyone else, however, this Galaxy is a flagship with the benefits of a foldable design – and little compromise.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has reached foldable phone nirvana thanks to major reductions in its size and thickness. Though at $2,000, it remains extremely expensive.
