Garmin Instinct 3 Solar 50mm sunburst/grey

Here’s your complete Garmin Instinct 3 (SOLAR & AMOLED) Beginners Guide, which covers everything you need to know about how to use the watch day to day. This is a bit different than my review videos (or the Garmin Instinct 3 In-Depth Review itself), in that I’m focused more on ‘how’ to use the product, rather than things I do or don’t like about the product. As such, it’s packed with tips and tricks for not just the Garmin Instinct 3 series, but also tons of general Garmin watch tips/tricks as well.

If you are looking for a rugged, durable watch with a classic look, but all the modern smarts for your sports and outdoor adventures, the new Garmin Instinct 3 might just be the best option around.

The Garmin Instinct series has enjoyed enormous popularity since its launch over 6 years ago. The rugged-looking watches have always aimed to deliver some of the longest battery life in the wearable-GPS world, while still maintaining much of the Garmin outdoor features and functionality.

The biggest ticket item on the Instinct 3 is, of course, the AMOLED display option, letting you choose which display type you like while still retaining the rugged look. However, Garmin has also expanded the LED flashlight to both the small and larger case sizes, whereas previously the larger Instinct 2X only had the flashlight. Beyond that, they added a bunch of minor features that were previously Solar/Tactical-only, such as Garmin Pay.
