Xiaomi Poco F9 Ultra 256GB dark cherry

The Poco F9 Ultra gets remarkably close to delivering a true flagship experience without the usual flagship price. It combines excellent performance, a superb display, long battery life, and a surprisingly capable camera system, although its image processing and software still lack some of the polish of the very best phones. For the money, though, there are very few compromises that would stop me recommending it.

If getting the most bang for your buck is your biggest priority, you could do much, much worse than splurging on the Poco F9 Ultra.

The F9 Ultra uses the same foundation as its predecessor, but comes with a new design, bigger battery that lasts two days without breaking a sweat, and a 200MP camera that takes great photos. You get the best onboard sound of any phone, but it has its share of issues — it overheats while gaming, doesn't have the latest version of Android, and video quality is average at best. That said, you're not paying anywhere as much as a regular flagship, and that makes the F9 Ultra a good all-round value in 2026.
