Xiaomi 17T Pro 1TB deep blue

The Xiaomi 17T series this year has come close to the company's flagships. Both models have high-quality displays, productive processors, excellent cameras, of which the periscopic telephoto is worth highlighting, long battery life, fast charging, stylish design and IP68 protection. But the smartphones have also come close to the flagships in terms of price, which is already less pleasing. And among the complaints, it is worth mentioning the lack of autofocus in the ultra-wide-angle camera and traditionally a lot of unnecessary software in the shell.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro isn't a huge upgrade over last year's Xiaomi 15T Pro. It has a bigger battery, a faster chip, and not a lot else. That said, the Xiaomi 15T Pro was already a superb phone, and this one's even better. It's not the most exciting launch, but it's still one of the best camera phones in its class.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro feels more iterative than exciting, with a familiar combination of design and hardware, but it remains a very strong all-rounder for the not-quite-flagship price. You’re getting a solid, premium-feeling design, a big and beautiful 144Hz display, very capable Leica-tuned cameras and one of the biggest, most durable batteries around, making it a fast, feature-packed powerhouse – as long as you can live with a few software annoyances.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro is a small but meaningful upgrade on its predecessor. Most of the hardware remains unchanged, but a faster processor, bigger battery, and faster charging all make for an even better experience. The Xiaomi 15T Pro was already one of the best sub-flagship phones around, and the 17T Pro is even better — but you will have to pay more this time around.
