Sony WF-C710N rosa

Sony’s headphones have been put in a barnstorming performance over the last few years, and the WF-C710N is another to add to the list. Considering the performance in the light of its price, these are budget all-stars.

The WF-C710N outperforms similarly priced competitors in several areas, but don’t expect flagship-quality audio at this price.

Sony has taken its smash-hit affordable noise-cancelling earbuds and changed the colorway, companion app, mic array, size, and stamina. You still don't get lossless LDAC or the company's top-tier DSEE upscaler, but you still do get the 360 Reality Audio (if you can find the content these days) and, now, auto-off when you remove a bud. But the real star of the show is noise cancellation: it's outrageously good for the level. Okay, some of the more minor gripes I'd have loved to see fixed haven't been addressed – and the competition makes it much harder to win convincingly – but if budget ANC is top of your wish list, then the Sony WF-C710N can make your wish come true.

Sony’s knack for producing brilliant budget wireless earbuds continues with the WF-C710N. They’re comfortable, capable noise-cancellers that deliver a grown-up performance for not a huge amount of money
