Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5 II mit Objektiv Lumix G Vario 12-60mm 3.5-5.6 ASPH Power OIS

Digitalkameras im Test: Die beste Kamera für Ihre Zwecke

Panasonic’s GH5 was such an iconic vlogging camera that Panasonic unveiled two Micro Four Thirds successors to replace it. The $2,500 GH6, due to arrive later this year, has major upgrades like 4K 120p and even 5.7K video. The other is the model I’m reviewing today, the $1,700 GH5 II.

The GH5 felt like a revolutionary product, but GH5 II is a more incremental update. Panasonic has left the bulk of the camera virtually untouched; only the addition of wireless live streaming feels like a significant upgrade. That being said, the new model is just as impressive a video camera as the original, and the few quality-of-life tweaks and minor performance bumps make it another really strong choice, particularly for content creators and vloggers in need of a first “serious” camera.

Offers exceptional video quality and recording features beyond what most would need, whilst also delivering great image quality.

The GH5 II adds a fewer feature enhancements to one of the strongest stills/video cameras on the market. Autofocus is improved but is still a weak point for 24p video capture, taking the gloss of what's otherwise a superlative video camera. Excellent image stabilization and a broad range of video support tools still make it one of the strongest options for 4K shooting under $3000.
