Oppo Find X8 Pro Space Black

Oppo’s European return has been a long time coming. The Find X8 Pro is a fantastic (if left-field) flagship with wonderfully capable cameras, long battery life and plenty of performance.

The Find X8 Pro is proof that OPPO can roll out a phone to outmatch Samsung. The phone has top-notch hardware, a massive 5910mAh silicon battery that lasts two days, extensive customizability, and a vibrant AMOLED panel. The cameras at the back are among the best I've ever used, and only the Find X7 Ultra and Vivo X100 Ultra can boast a better main camera than what you're getting here. Combine all of that with a design that's thinner and lighter than its rivals, and you get an all-round package that's worthy of your attention.

Oppo’s latest flagship is quite possibly the best camera phone available in the UK. If you love taking photos, it demands your attention. Besides photography, the phone impresses with powerful performance, useful software features and great battery life. It’s just excellent.

The Oppo Find X8 Pro takes on premium devices like the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Galaxy S24 Ultra with a quartet of cameras, powerful performance and a noticeably lower price tag. If Oppo sold this phone more readily in the United States, and offered longer software support, there'd be little else to critique about the Find X8 Pro.

The Oppo Find X8 Pro is a largely triumphant return to the UK and EU market for Oppo, offering a great all-round flagship with a unique, if slightly minimalistic, design. That’s paired with a great display and a powerful quad-camera system with rarely-seen dual periscope cameras that can capture some impressively detailed shots. Throw in Dimensity 9400 power, impressively long battery life and 80W fast charging and there’s not a lot to dislike – except maybe its £1049 price tag.
