Testbewertung:
Testbewertung: 90

Originalwertung: 4.5/5

The Canon EF 70-200mm F4L IS II USM is a new updated version of the classic f/4 L-series telephoto zoom lens for Canon's full-frame and APS-C DSLR cameras. This weather-sealed lens features a constant aperture of f/4 throughout the range, built-in 5-stop image stabilisation system with three different modes, and minimum focus distance of 1m and maximum magnification of 0.27x. There's also an ultrasonic focus motor for quiet and fast AF operation, Super Spectra coating to help minimize ghosting and flare, a fluorine coating on the front and rear lens elements, and a dust- and moisture-sealed construction.

Originalwertung: 5/5

A major upgrade of Canon’s popular 70-200mm f/4 IS lens, the new Mark II remains relatively compact and lightweight, but packs a heavyweight punch in terms of performance.

Some have questioned whether this lens is a worthy upgrade, if enough has changed. If you are looking for a revolutionary improvement over the previous generation lens (perhaps considering updating), that might be a hard choice, but there is no doubt that this is a significantly improved lens on a number of levels. The build is improved, the autofocus is improved, and the image quality is improved. There is no single thing that jumps out at you, but the sum total of the improvements add up to what I believe is the best f/4 lens that covers this focal length. The price tag is at the high end of the spectrum, but so is the performance of the lens. There are solid alternatives to this lens, but if you want the best 70-200mm f/4 lens, the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II is the one to get.
