ASUS ROG Swift PG259QN, 24.5"

Erster Monitor aus ASUS’ Gaming-Schmiede „ROG“ (Republic of Gamers) der eine native Aktualisierungsrate von 360 Hz erreicht

The latest monitor to come out of the ASUS arsenal is the first of its kind – a 360Hz gaming monitor that really does give you the edge over your competition. The lightning-quick refresh rate is paired with an equally impressive 1ms (GTG) response time, excellent colors right out of the box, and superb build quality too. On the surface, this monitor really does tick all the right boxes for the competitive gamer. Ultimately, whilst this monitor is a bit of a one-trick pony, it still outshines its rivals with its fantastic smoothness and overall image clarity. The ASUS ROG SWIFT PG259QN really is the next step in gaming monitor technology – the first of its kind but most certainly not the last.

The ASUS ROG PG259QN is a great monitor overall. Although it's primarily designed for gaming, it's suitable for a wide range of uses. It has good ergonomics, wide viewing angles, and overcomes glare easily, making it ideal for work and media consumption. It's excellent for gaming due to its exceptional motion handling, low input lag, and VRR support. Sadly, it can't deliver a good HDR experience, as it lacks local dimming, a wide color gamut, and doesn't get bright enough to make highlights stand out.

The Asus ROG Swift PG259QN is the first monitor to hit a 360Hz refresh rate, giving us motion clarity that’s unlike anything we’ve seen with LCD panels before. It also presents the next evolution of high refresh rate monitors, moving significantly beyond the 240Hz barrier that we’ve become accustomed to over the past few years.
